Patricia McGuire MD FAAP

Hi, I am Patricia McGuire MD FAAP also known as The Pediatric Profiler. I create biographical profiles of children and adolescents in order to help parents, teachers, and other professionals better understand what is needed to help turn around the developmental and behavioral challenges they are working with.

The Pediatric Profiler: Provide training to professionals and parents on how to understand children/adolescents from the core of temperament, with the impact that it has on development, learning, behavior, and mental health, and on the role of environmental influences on helping or worsening the child/adolescent's behavior and/or mental health. Patricia McGuire MD FAAP: Provide diagnostic and counseling services for the various developmental, learning and behavioral challenges affecting children/adolescents. Springtides, Inc.: Founder and President. Founded in 2000 with the mission to provide knowledge and support to those working and living with youth experiencing developmental and behavioral challenges. Since July 2010, the focus has narrowed to the autism spectrum disorders, due to the great need for knowledge and support and the relative paucity of accurate information and services available. Springtides has a Parents as Therapist program, as well as music therapy based services. Due to my eventual move to Wisconsin (date TBD), Springtides closed in 2012. My work will continue through the Pediatric Profiler.
